Welcome to Poplar Bluff Middle School. We have great facilities and we offer a challenging curriculum, but the true heart of Poplar Bluff Middle School is, and always has been, the students and teachers who come here every day. We are blessed to have a great staff, great parents, and most importantly, great students.

The staff here at Poplar Bluff Middle School work endless hours to ensure students are successful. They go above and beyond the call of duty in the service of our students. They create a compassionate and caring community with a culture for learning. They love what they do and they love our students. For that, we thank them.

The parents and PTO offer tremendous support for our school. They handle fundraisers, WINGS parties, planners, and many other activities. If there is a need, all we have to do is ask and our parents and PTO take care of it. We are truly fortunate to have their help and support. Thank you parents and PTO.

On my first day at Poplar Bluff Middle School, I gave our students two rules to follow. They aren’t difficult or earth shattering rules, but they are rules that will help anyone do well in life. They are:

  1. Work hard.

  2. Be nice.

Our students have taken that to heart. They have risen to the expectations of their teachers and more. They have worked diligently toward their goals and have been kind to each other along the way. The students of Poplar Bluff Middle School have a bright future ahead of them and there is no question they will rise to the occasion. Good luck as you meet the challenges of life and remember to always work hard and be nice.
